How long and heavy can you be?

There are no weight limits. In addition, the ice bath is designed for people up to 2 meters long.

Can I put the ice bath with Chiller outside?

Preferably place the ice bath in a place in the shade and from full sun.

The Polarpure Chiller is suitable for outdoor use, provided that it is under a roof or is placed in a sheltered place. The chiller is splash -proof (IPX4), which means that it is resistant to light rain or splashing water. It is therefore protected against some drops or moisture, but may not be exposed to rain or immediately water contact for a long time. A fixed, dry arrangement under a shelter or roof is therefore ideal for long -term and safe use.

How long does the setting up of the ice bath last?

The Flamengo Polarplunge Bath has been blown up within about 5 minutes with the simple supplied Double Action pump.

You can easily connect the Polarpure module, so you can quickly use your Flamengo ice cream bath experience.

How long does it take to install Polarpure chiller

Connect in minutes:

Screw the supplied couplings onto your ice bath, connect the flexible water pipes with sealing rings and tape - and you are ready to start.

An ice bath can considerably lower the core body temperature. The immersion in cold water narrows the blood vessels and slows blood flow, which can increase your blood pressure in combination with health problems and can increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke.

Side effects
The most striking side effect of an ice bath is intense cold, but other side effects of staying in an ice bath for too long are:

  • hypothermia,
  • freezing,
  • tachycardia (fast heartbeat),
  • Arithmias (irregular heartbeat),
  • Allergic and anaphylactic shock.

Despite the possible side effects and warnings, the correct use of an ice bath has many health benefits! We recommend starting with just a few minutes in the ice bath and to slowly build up to the recommended time. Never force your body beyond its limits.
